Community Heart and Vascular physicians support hospital expansion
Thanks to a major gift of $160,450 made by 28 Community Heart and Vascular physicians, Community Health Network Foundation has reached an important milestone in its $1 million fundraising campaign to support the Next Evolution of Community Hospital South.
More than $636,000 has been raised to fund capital improvements that will deliver exceptional experiences for patients and families, as well as physicians and all employees.
The major gift was made possible by the philanthropic leadership of Community Heart and Vascular President Ramarao Yeleti, M.D.
Barbara Coury, Community Health Network Foundation vice president of development, is leading the fundraising for the capital campaign and is excited to see so many network leaders engage in the philanthropic process.
“I am delighted with the response we have received from our leadership to not only make their own gift to the campaign, but to also help us identify additional natural partners as we continue to raise funds for this and other opportunities across the network and central Indiana,” Coury said.
